The Contract Services Management Team at Access Rehab Centers reaches across all disciplines, with key members each having over 30 years experience.
Brian Emerick, President
Mr. Emerick has served as President of Access Rehab Centers since the year 2000. He holds degrees as both an Occupational Therapist and an MBA. During Mr. Emerick's tenure, Access Rehab Centers has grown from two clinics having 13,000 patient visits per year to its current level of being the largest therapy provider in Western CT. In addition during his tenure Access Rehab Centers has created management divisions for hospitals, outpatient clinics, major urban school systems, and staffing services to suburban school systems and VNAs.
Mr. Emerick began his career as a staff therapist in a rehabilitation hospital. He has managed therapy departments across several continuums of care, and served as a regional therapy coordinator with a healthcare company specializing in contract therapy programs.
Mr. Emerick has extensive experience in strategic market analysis, systems development, contractual services, and in the buliding of strong customer relationships.
Robert Merolle, Clinical Director of Outpatient Services
Mr. Merolle has been the Clinical Director of Outpatient Services at Access Rehab Centers since its founding in 1998. He is the past Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services for Waterbury Hospital.
Mr. Merolle has over 30 years experience in orthopedic and musculoskeletal disorders. He is a graduate of Quinnipiac University's PT program.
Robert's skills include the ability to achieve both quality and productivity in clinic operations.
Harvey Heyman, Business Planning Manager
Mr. Heyman has been with Access Rehab Centers for 9 years and joined the company after a 25+ year management career in companies ranging from Fortune 100 to start-ups. His background includes strategic marketing, new opportunity assessment, information technology, operations management and customer relationship management. Mr. Heyman is a graduate of the Harvard Business School and Brown University.
At Access Rehab Centers Mr. Heyman focuses on new business opportunities, strategic marketing, management information systems and business analytics.
