Who We Are & Who We Serve

Who We Are

Access Rehab Centers is the largest provider of therapy services in Western-Central Connecticut, bringing together under one roof physical, occupational, speech and aquatic therapy.

Starting with two outpatient clinics 15 years ago, we have grown to 13 clinics today. We have highly experienced therapists with little turnover, and many therapists present at the beginning of our founding are still with us today.

In addition to operating our own clinics, we manage the inpatient therapy for a major urban hospital, the outpatient therapy program for a leading suburban hospital, and manage and staff therapy programs for public and private school systems.

Awards and Recognitions

Access Rehab Centers has been the recipient of both regional and national awards. Among them are an award for "Organizational Excellence," a national award recognizing us for "Innovation," and multiple "Best of Greater Waterbury for Outpatient Treatment Rehabilitation." In addition, we hold the coveted designation of Rehabilitation Agency as recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabiliation Agencies.

Today we are recognized as the premier provider of therapy services in our region and a center of excellence for patient care.

Based on our vast and rapidly growing experience, the management team at Access Rehab Centers also provides consulting and management services to other healthcare organizations.

Who We Serve

We serve and treat:

We treat the broad range of orthopedic and neurologic conditions and also have a Pediatric Center and a Women's Health Center, each staffed by specialists trained in those disciplines. We also have certified therapists specializing in other areas such as hand therapy, dizzyness and balance issues and post cancer-surgery management, to name a few.

By offering a full spectrum of rehabilitation services, we are able to apply our broad knowledge and skills toward developing the best individualized treatment plan for each patient.
